We wanted to recommend the team at Alltype Lofts. They designed and constructed a spectacular kitchen rear extension for us for which we are really happy with.

Alltype Lofts team did a very good job. I have an amazing light and spacious kitchen and an extra bedroom in my loft, so much needed for my big family. The work was carried at the highest standards. I would definitely recommend Alltype Lofts as very reliable professionals.

The work started very fast to get to a point where all of the dusty bits have been completed within a small number of weeks, which was good. You need to be ready to quickly answer their questions and give guidance on certain points (e.g. types of windows, where you want plugs and radiators etc), as this helps the work progress quickly.

There were also be options for extra work and I'd highly recommend considering these options, as there are some good synergies to be had. For example, we decided to get our old roof tiles replaced with nice new slate ones. The price was very good compared to getting it done independently, as the scaffolding was already up and the guys on the job had the skills to do it. We also asked Alltype Lofts team to paint the new interior areas and again the price and quality was good.

We'd definitely use Alltype Lofts again. They also do bigger projects like extensions and new builds, and smaller stuff like kitchens - ask to go and look at some of their great work first!

We retained Alltype Lofts team in April to do a loft conversion. The standard of work was very high and they were very flexible on additional jobs. They crew are very polite and tidy. Overall the price was competitive and I am happy to recommend. Be warned they work very fast initially, so make sure you have you fittings choices made. We also retained them to do our underfloor heating and tiles, the end product looks amazing. Unlike other builders, any problems were resolved but you need to manage the project very tight to get to the end line.

We had a whole house renovated. High quality work at a good price point. The work started on time and initial progress was rapid. His team are friendly and hard working and you definitely need to know what fixtures and fittings you want in advance otherwise it obstructs progress. Alltype Lofts has good ideas if you are stuck for what to do. Inevitably snagging was time consuming, but team has been responsive to subsequent queries following the end of the work.

Having done an almost identical conversion for friends and over the road from us I was one of the first wave of lofts to be constructed under the Alltype Lofts brand and was not disappointed.

The loft was up an watertight in a matter of a few weeks. Plastering was crisp and to a high standard and all construction materials were top spec, proper velux windows, foamed in rock wool insulation and wooden sash windows.

The price was almost too good to believe, but by working so quickly I guess there was still a profit in it.

I would highly recommend them.

Note, unlike some builders, they work quickly and like to get things done. It is imperative you give good instruction on what you want, where lights and sockets will go and have chosen materials eg bathroom fittings, tiles, etc etc as the place went up so fast we had to make a few decisions on the fly. And had to make a few superficial remedial changes such as moving sockets, and adding a couple of extra led spots . That said the team did them quickly and without question.
